Supporting Conservation
 Since 2010, we have been supporting World Land Trust in their efforts to preserve and restore wildlife habitats that are under imminent threat of destruction. Our contributions to their buy an acre programme have enabled us to protect a quarter-an-acre each month. Thanks to our support, several reserves across Ecuador, including the Río Canandé Reserve in the wet Choco and the dry forests at Laipuna, have been safeguarded.

 Onsite Solar Power Generation
We're doing our part to help the planet by using solar panels to create clean renewable energy. These panels are right here onsite, so they can directly power everything from our office to our data centre and are capable of meeting up to 50% of our annual electricity needs. 100% Renewable Energy
 At our office and data centre, we're proud to say that we use 100% renewable energy. Our ultimate aim is to produce all of our renewable energy onsite, but for now, we also receive supplementary renewable electricity from our electricity supplier.
 Carbon Emissions
We strongly believe that reducing CO2 emissions directly is more effective than depending on dubious carbon offsetting. We are pleased to report that we are making great progress towards our goal of producing zero CO2 emissions. In 2022 and 2023, we only emitted 0.3 tonnes of CO2, which is an impressive achievement.
 Solar Energy Storage
Although onsite solar power generation stops when the sun goes down, we can still make use of the electricity generated during the day. Our energy storage systems allow us to store renewable energy, which we can use to power our data centre during electrical grid peak times.
 Direct Air Cooling & Heat Recovery
Our data centre is located in the coastal town of Bournemouth in the UK. We make use of the cool climate by using outside air for cooling most of the year. In addition, we utilise the warm air produced by our servers to heat our offices during the winter season.
 Energy-Efficient Servers
In order to minimize power consumption, we operate advanced cloud edge servers that are highly efficient and based on the latest Intel Xeon-D System-on-a-Chip (SoC) platform. This allows us to decrease our energy usage when compared to traditional servers.
 Server Virtualisation
We've implemented server virtualisation to reduce our impact on the environment and improve our dependability. It has reduced our reliance on physical hardware by 90%, making us more efficient and sustainable while providing a better user experience.
Pay-As-You-Go Cloud Web Hosting
 Our shared web hosting services function on a pay-as-you-go basis, making it cost-effective for our clients as they only pay for the resources they use. This approach also promotes environmental sustainability by encouraging clients to remove any unused websites, mailboxes, databases and data which would otherwise remain active, consuming unnecessary resources.
