System

Dedicated Server - $133.26/month Intel Xeon 6325P (4 Cores, 8 Threads). Windows Dedicated Server. Memory Choose the amount of memory you need for your server. Standard (Non-ECC) memory is fine for most workloads. We recommend ECC Server Memory for databases such as SQL Server, or any role where data integrity matters, as it detects and corrects memory errors in real time.

Storage

You will need storage drives for your server. Please select either 'SSD RAID 1 Mirror Drives' or 'NVMe Drives.' If you need storage options that are not listed, please contact sales so we can discuss your storage arrangements. SSD RAID 1 Mirror Drives Two SSD drives in RAID 1 mirror offer the best protection for your server's storage and provide a good balance between protection and speed. NVMe Drive If high performance and I/O are essential, choose an NVMe drive as your only storage or combine it with SSD RAID 1 mirrored drives above for additional capacity.

Network

Firewall Choose either Windows Defender Software Firewall, which is sufficient in most cases, or opt for a hardware firewall for stronger protection or to run your own VPN for remote connections. IP Addresses Typically, you should only need the two IP addresses provided. Bandwidth We provide diverse Internet routing through two network ports on your server. Select the speed that best suits your needs.

Software

Operating system For most setups, Windows Server Standard will be sufficient. SQL Server SQL Server Express is sufficient for most setups. However, if your databases exceed 10 GB in size or you have more than 2 CPU cores and require better performance, you may want to consider a different edition of SQL Server. Please note: SQL Server Express is licensed only for use with websites, web applications, or web services.

Server Backups

Server Backups If you require nightly backups of your server, this allows rollback of the server to a previous point in time, or granular recovery of deleted or changed files.

Custom Setup Options

Setup Options The initial setup-including OS installation, hardware racking, and network configuration-requires 4 hours of engineering time. Consequently, we offer two setup options. Pay Upfront: Pay the setup fee now to cover the installation. Free Setup: Commit to a 12-month term and we'll waive the setup fee. Note: If you choose the free setup, you can still cancel at any time by paying the original setup fee.
