Kestrel Web Server for ASP.NET Core

Kestrel is an open source cross-platform web server developed for ASP.NET Core. To make ASP.NET Core Web Applications cross platform they run on the Kestrel Web Server which is included by default in Visual Studio ASP.NET Core new project templates. To run ASP.NET Core Web Applications on the Internet, IIS, Nginx, or Apache web servers need to be configured as a reverse proxy server to forward HTTP requests to Kestrel. Web Wiz ASP.NET Core Hosting is compatible with Kestrel Web Server and IIS In-Process Hosting Model.
