POP 3, IMAP & Roaming SMTP Email Settings


Web Wiz mailboxes support POP3, IMAP, Roaming SMTP, and WebMail services. On this page you will find out how to setup your POP 3\IMAP email client, such as Outlook to send and receive emails from your Web Wiz Mailboxes.

To send and receive email using the Web Wiz mail servers you need to enter the following, Host names, Authentication and TCP Port Numbers into your email client: -


SMTP Outgoing Mail Server Settings

SMTP Mail Server Host Name smtp.WebSiteLive.net
SMTP Port 587 - Encrypted TLS (STARTTLS) connection
Alternative SMTP Port 465 - Encrypted TLS/SSL connection
Username Your complete email address, such as account@example.com
Password As you have specified in your Control Panel for the email address


IMAP Incoming Mail Server Settings

IMAP Mail Server Host Name imap.WebSiteLive.net
IMAP Port
993 - Encrypted TLS/SSL connection
Alternative IMAP Port 143 - Encrypted TLS (STARTTLS) connection
Username Your complete email address, such as account@example.com
Password As you have specified in your Control Panel for the email address


POP Incoming Mail Server Settings

POP Mail Server Host Name pop.WebSiteLive.net
POP 3 Port 995 - Encrypted TLS/SSL connection
Alternative POP 3 Port 110 - Encrypted TLS (STARTTLS) connection
Username Your complete email address, such as account@example.com
Password As you have specified in your Control Panel for the email address

SPAM Filtering

Email is scanned for SPAM by Cyren Premium Anti-Spam and Realtime Blackhole Lists (RBL) which tag SPAM email with a weighting letting you decide what action to take. You are able to configure SPAM Filters on our servers selecting what action to take with various SPAM weightings, including; take no action, filtering to junk mail folder, or deleting.

You are able to configurable SPAM Filters from your webmail account. You can select what action to take when emails are detected as being SPAM. By default emails detected as SPAM with have the subject line prefixed with; ** SPAM-LOW **, ** SPAM-MED **, and ** SPAM-HIGH **.


Anti-Virus Scanning

Email is scanned by Cyren Zero-Hour Antivirus Virus. Rather than depending on heuristics, Cyren Zero-hour Antivirus uses Recurrent Pattern Detection (RPD) to scan the Internet and identify malware outbreaks as soon as they emerge, providing proactive virus blocking for your mailboxes.
